YOUTH INSPIRATION
The Youth Inspiration area was designed to be a family fun area for parents and children to unleash their creativity or relax and enjoy interactive cultural art performances from the Mosaic Stage.
Kids Edition:
Brush Strokes Live Studio Classes
Young artists are invited to try their hand at painting Ocean Sunset, Rainbow Tree, Whale, and Mermaid Tail. Instruction and painting supplies are free.
Register onsite; first come, first served. Must be 7 to 13 years old and accompanied by an adult.
Bubble Art
Create your own bubble painting without a paintbrush! Bubble art allows kids to decorate their canvas the fun way, with paint and a bubble wand.
The Little Artist
Create your own Kaleidoscope and Temporary Tattoos.
Chalk Art
Kids can bring out their inner chalk artist by coloring with chalk.
Photo Station
Take a photo with your completed artwork at the photo station!
Tot Area
Enjoy an exciting obstacle course of tents, tunnels, ball pits, and bubbles! Age 6 and under.
Rock Art
Art rocks! Paint colorful and inspirational art on rocks and enjoy our featured rock art garden.
Accessibility Space, Sensory-Friendly Tent
This sensory friendly space offers a reduced sensory environment with a variety of quiet activities for people of all ages. Try noise cancelling headphones, fidget and sensory toys, and more!

Honeycomb Harmonies
Originally designed as part of the San Diego public art initiative, Park Social, this 20’ wide hexagonal shaped installation is comprised of community painted tire stacks that form points of a hexagram to create an overhead shade structure and musical environment beneath. The environment will be filled with xylophones, bell tone structures, handheld musical instruments, and will be a vibrant space of communal rhythmic and art-making celebration open to all.
